Written By: Amber on 10/11/2000 at 10:48 a.m.

Ok,this message is for anyone posting a classified ad looking for hard-to-find 80's stuff.I can't believe not everyone knows this, but try your local thrift store!Especially the large chains like Salvation Army and Volunteers of America. Some of my thrift store finds include:a good condition Rainbow Brite doll for under a dollar, several good condition My Little Ponies,a Jesus and Mary Chain tshirt (you can't find 80's progressive band tshirts anymore!),several hard to find albums and tapes, and the list goes on.Thrift shopping is very rewarding, trust me,I'm addicted!

Thrift shopping is the bomb! I have found Sooooo many goodies both 80s and non-80s related! Check out used bookstores as well for old, out of print books from the 80s (I found an OLD "Family Ties" scholastic book from 1983 for $1.98!!) My most prized find? "The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer" for 3.98!!
