Subject: HELP!! Weird 80's Halloween costume--need info

Written By: Liv Trenary on 10/17/2000 at 12:19 p.m.

Does anyone remember, around the mid-80's, a costume for kids that came in a few colors (I think, yellow, orange, and red) and was plastic. You had to blow up the top part, which resembled the head of some cartoon character (who, I don't know--that's the info I'm looking for), and you then strapped that part onto the child's head. They wore it like a hat. The body part of the costume was also plastic (I think) and it was the same color as the head. I think the main color that people had was yellow. I know this isn't the best description but I don't know how else to say it...the name Puff-a-lump keeps popping up into my head, but I don't think that's it--I think those were those strange stuffed animals.
Anyway, can anyone help me? I remember that it was a total craze for a year or so. Thanks!
