Subject: Tiffany's new album, "The Color Of Silence"

Written By: Andrew on 11/2/2000 at 12:12 p.m.

I know probably not a lot of you like Tiffany, but I've listened to a few of her new songs off of Napster, and they're really incredible. It's nothing like you'd ever expect from Tiffany. This sounds like a very therapeutic album for her. "I'm Not Sleeping" and "Good Enough For Me" are two great songs. Her new album, "The Color Of Silence", is being released on Tuesday, November 7. I would suggest you check out some of her new songs. You may be pleasantly surprised. www.tiffanymusic.com.

Couldn't agree more, Andrew. After hearing parts of two or three of the new songs at the end of her "Behind the Music" episode on VH-1, I went over to "CDnow", and sampled the tracks from the new album that were available there. Although my taste in music is wide, and my love of '80s music is great, I was NOT a Tiffany fan back in the late '80s/early '90s (never bought any of her albums then, and still don't own any!), but I, too, was most impressed by what I heard on "The Color of Silence". I think I'm sold on it - give it a serious (and honest, open-minded) listen, folks...
