Subject: Artist and Song Title Sought for Christmas Present

Written By: Dave Fix on 12/2/2000 at 7:31 p.m.

OK -- I'm trying to find the artist and song title for 2 songs for my young daughter:

Lyrics of 2 songs:

1. "Amy what you want to do? I think I can stay with you for a while maybe longer if I do...."

2. "Me and you and a dog named Boo. Livin' and a lovin' off the land.... I can still recall the wheatfilds of St. Paul... another tank of gas and we're back on the road again...."

Can anyone out there help me in this triva and help me get a present for my daughter?

Thanks

"Amie" was a hit in the Spring of '75. Vince Gill didn't join PPL until 1979 (i.e., the very end of the band's existence). Craig Fuller was, in fact, the lead vocalist on that tune. Don't know why everyone seems to think VG was an original member...
