Subject: Wrong info on Pass the Duchie song??

Written By: Pete Johnson on 12/3/2000 at 7:10 a.m.

Hi!

I saw :
"Pass The Duchie", Originally by Musical Youth, Remade by Buck 0-Nine.

I believe this is incorrect.

I believe Musical Youth copied 'Pass the Coochie' composed and sung by the Might Diamonds.

I guess they didn't want references to smoking hash!

Musical Youth did indeed copy the song originally and change the lyrics, but Buck O Nine copied it from Musical Youth (singing their version, not the original, "Coochie" version) so no, it's not incorrect
