Does anyone remember Captain OJ Readmore? i've been trying to find him on the web. It was a cartoon telling kids that reading is cool. It went "Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Zoology, Science and Technology!"

I do. He was a cat with fingerless gloves, a red coat, captain's hat, and a cane that he twirled around his finger. I think he sat on a huge pile of books. Wasn't it shown in between cartoons on Saturday mornings?

Yeah cool. They showed him for a long time. When he left It was the end of an era. (sigh)
At one point he was a giant pupet, who told us kids about books. He came on ABC. for more info look at Yesterday land. They really dig up this stuff.
