Subject: little known 80s band *PIC*

Written By: TX on 12/9/2000 at 8:48 p.m.

Has anyone ever heard of Z-Rocks. They had a song called "The Teacher's A Punk" from 81. I would like to know if anyone knows anything about them, where they are from, or just have you ever heard the song?

Here it a link to listen to it in real audio. I found it at a web site for The Judys. Does anyone remember them and their song "Guyana Punch"

Sorry, never heard of Z-Rocks, TX. But I did follow your link and just gave three of the songs off their '81 album a listen, including "The Teacher's a Punk". The vocals are a bit weak, IMO, but the music itself sounds catchy as heck! I'd still take these '80s unknowns over the Limp Bizkit, KoRn, Kid Rock, and rap crap of today (sigh)...
