Subject: Looking for song with Dirty Harry and Bugs Bunny

Written By: Tortoisehare on 12/14/2000 at 12:00 a.m.

I am looking for the name and artist of an electronic song from the 80's that sampled Clint saying:

"I can tell what you're thinking, did he fire 6 short or only 5. Well to tell you the truth in all the excitement I kind of lost track myself. But this is a .44 Magnum, it's the most powerful handgun in the world, it would blow your head clean off. So you've got to ask yourself - do I feel lucky? Well do you punk?"

In the movie the next line is the catchphrase "go ahead, make my day" - but this is not sampled in the song. The "clean off" and "you punk" parts are repeated in the song.

A Bugs sample is also in the song "everything is getting dark - I'm gonna kick the bucket"

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks.

OK, I am not 100% sure about this, and I have not been able to verify one way or the other; however, if my memory serves me correctly, I believe the song was done by a band called "Renegade Soundwave". Once again, I am not absolutely certain, and I have been unable to verify this.
