Subject: Who sung "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer"?

Just out of curiousity, this is something that has been bugging me. I know that Elmo and Patsy did it in '84, but that's not the version that I remember. Maybe it's Ray Stevens, I can't remember...

The single I have is from 1982 and is by The Rovers (formerly Irish Rovers) and it is the original version as far as I know.

It was later released by the Irish Rovers.

I think the only version I have heard was Elmo and Patsy.

That's the only version I've heard too.

Do you know someone has gone and made a cartoon of it? I saw an ad for it in the back of a family magazine. I sent my brother to pick it up, but I haven't seen it yet. Has anyone? If so is it good/bad/indifferent?
