Hello! I had this really great toy when I was about 3 years old. I received it in 1985 for Christmas. Anyways, it is a board with white light underneath it. You take special tools and run these tools over the board. The marks u leave with the tools makes cool colors. It was manufactured by TOMY in 1985. I know it is not Lite Brite. If u know what I'm talking about, please post it here, or feel free to e-mail me at YankeeSNL01@aol.com

I'm not sure, but the toy you're thinking of is Lights Alive. You might want to check out www.ebay.com to see if they have any up for bid.
