The show is Family Matters (1989-1998). My question is concerning one of the cast members. She played the role of Steve's girlfriend (not Larua). Did she actress die from cancer?

The actress that played Steve's girlfriend (Myra)
was Michelle Thomas. Unfortunately she died on December 23, 1998 from a rare stomach cancer at age 29.

She did die this year. I think it was some form of ovarian cancer. I'm not 100% sure about the type though.
