Dear Eighties fans,

I am a producer for an English based television production company. I am hoping to make a documentary dedicated to the most popular and most dire fads of the eighties.

I need as much information as possible and hoped that the initiated might be able to guide me through the mass of web material to the best sites on the internet. I am particularly interested in finding out the stories behind the fads- why they took off, who was responsible and where are they now.

The fads featured can revolve around fashion, hairdos , cars, toys , films, TV and music.

I would appreciate any help or suggestions as to weird and wacky ( but true) material to include in the programme.

Your sincerely,

Emma Jessop
