Subject: help with obscure band

Written By: Drew on 2/9/2001 at 3:20 a.m.

Does anyone remember the group Waysted? They were a metal band from the early to mid eighties. As far as I know they only had one album without much commercial success...okay without ANY commercial success. There was one single that I seem to remember getting moderate MTV airplay, though. I'm pretty sure it was called "Heaven Tonight." This song has been on the edge of my memory for years and it is driving me crazy! Thanks!

I downloaded the "Heaven Tonight" song, not that bad. I was into the 80s metal scene but do not remember these guys. But for some reason I remember Trixter. ugh...But Waysted doest sound that bad. All Music Guide gave their first 2 albums 4 stars. I am going to check them out some more.

Thanks a lot! And unfortunately, I remember Trixter, too!
