Subject: The "Drugs are Bad" Penny

Written By: Amanda Fights on 2/23/2001 at 12:20 a.m.

I used to watch Saturday morning cartoons on ABC, and I remember a commercial figure. I'm trying to find a picture or something of the little Penny girl with the penny eyes from the "Drugs are Bad" commercials. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about her or where I could find some pictures. The commercial went something like this. "Jump-roping is good. Hamsters are good. Pizza is good. Birthday parties are REAL good. Drugs are bad. Don't do drugs."

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

"Penny" was apart of the Pee Wee Human show too!
Maybe a search on Human might link you to "Penny".
I totally remember that commercial...

Actually she was on "Pee-Wee's Playhouse" starring Pee-Wee HERMAN, not Human.
