Subject: Still need help with that video!
A while back I left a post about a video that no-one could help me with (Tarzan Boy, it's not Roxy Music apparently)...
All we know is that the video was very white, and although a man sang the song on the screen the words were mimed by a woman in a red dress. Apparently the song sounded very synthy, like early Visage or OMD, neither of whom it is. My friend also says she remembers a big eye in the video.
Can anyone help? ...Please?

It could be some band I've never even heard of (as it usually turns out). Could it be ABC? I'm just guessing since the cover of their 1982 album, Lexicon Of Love, has a woman in a red dress. ABC is pretty synth-driven too (I wouldn't say like OMD, though, but more like a disco band...).

:Tarzan boy is probaaly right.The video ABC has for the song Poison Arrow includes a Tarzan.If it's not ABC it could be Rick Astley's Jane's Getting Serious also featuring Tarzan. Both Videos include gorilla bongo solos.

Um, "Jane's Getting Serious" was a minor hit here in the U.S. in the Summer of '87 for Jon Astley, not Rick Astley (no relation)! (*sigh*)
