what did people(teens basically) do fun back in 1979- 1981. What were some popular things that teens bought back then(besides clothes)? WHen did arcades get popular? Where commadors around back then. I have a project due on wed. and i really need to know!

I don't know about what people did for fun in '79 and '80 as I was only 8 then, but I DO know that arcades hit the height of their popularity in 1982 (money-wise), which would make me think they were very popular in '79 and '80 also. By the way, there are actually quite a few books out there that are soley dedicated to the history of video games and arcades.
