Subject: Retro Lunchbox series

Written By: Andrew on 2/26/2001 at 1:55 p.m.

Hey, can any of you tell me where I can locate the Retro Lucnhbox compilation series? The one I am looking for in particular is called "Squeeze The Cheese", I believe. It's a collection of "cheesy" 80's love songs. All I know is that it includes: "When Your Heart Is Weak" by Cock Robin, "The Captain Of Her Heart" by Double, and "Could've Been" by Tiffany. "Love Changes (Everything)" by Climie Fisher might even be on there. I remember finding this series last summer on cdnow.com and on various other CD sites, but it now seems to be found nowhere. This is such a great series, if you can find it for me, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

I agree, those are a couple of pretty good collections. Unfortunately, Platinum Entertainment went under last Summer. I know because Rick Springfield's 1999 comeback album, "Karma", was also on that label. Therefore, everything through PE is now out-of-print, although w/ a little extra effort, it's still likely you could find stray copies of any of the above CDs in the racks at your local record store...
