Subject: just an obervation

Written By: cherrybomb on 3/3/2001 at 7:39 p.m.

As goofy as some of the fashions of the 1980's were, (I remember wearing high-heeled ankle boots, tight mini skirts, big sweaters, and Madonna 'Lucky Star' bows in my hair...ugh!) it was the last decade that didn't completely borrow from a previous one. When and if there is ever a 90's fashion revival, what will people be wearing? Recycled 70's styles.

That said, I will say that music never rocked as hard as it did in the 80's. "Darken in the city, night is a wire/Steam in the subway, earth is afire..." They just don't write 'em like they used to.

i completely agree with you. there is no imagination anymore.they can't write new songs, can't make new movies and definatly can't come up with their own sense of style...everyone looks, talks and acts the same...i can't tell the differance between one kid in his fathers oversized pants from another...lol
