Subject: Song at dance scene in Sixteen Candles
Does anyone know the title and performer of the song playing at the beginning of the dance scene in Sixteen Candles when Sam (Molly Ringwald) and Randy enter? It plays for a while... through the scene where the boy is trying to go with his parents, and it is immediately preceded by the Peter Gunn theme. It is most certainly not "Rumours in the Night" by Night Ranger which I have seen it listed as. It has always sounded a lot like Madness' "Our House" although it is not that song (unless it is a remix I am unaware of). Please, can anyone help me? I am trying to compile all of the songs from the movie, and this is the only one I do not know. In fact, no one seems to know this song. I have moved far beyond obsession. Thanks!
