Subject: Can somebody help me find this CD?

Written By: Andrew on 3/14/2001 at 9:30 p.m.

I know this is a 90's question, does anybody know where I can purchase "Only Rock N Roll 1990-94" besides cdnow.com? They are unable to track the CD down for me at cdnow.com, and I would really like it if I could find it somewhere else. It contains the hits "Would I Lie To You" (Charles & Eddie), "I'm Too Sexy" (Right Said Fred), "Hold On" (Wilson Phillips), etc. If you can help me find this CD on any other website besides cdnow.com, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Secondspin.com has a copy, but since the others who responded have pointed out that there are 2 different versions of this cd, you may want to write second spin and ask for a track listing before you buy. I left a link below to where I located the CD. In the search box I used album title: only rock n roll. They only had one copy so you should follow up quickly.

Thanks

What was wrong with the link I left you on the 90s board?

You found the correct CD that Andrew's looking for, TX, but you'll note that if you follow the link you gave, Barnes & Noble says in bold lettering that "This title is not available for ordering. It may be available at a later date." I'm quite familiar w/ the "Only Rock 'n Roll" series, and if the CD has, in fact, gone out-of-print, then the chances of it becoming available again are slim to none. It appears that his best bet is to search the "V/A" section of his local record stores, as I'm sure there are still quite a few stray copies out there...

I think the CD that I'm looking for is currently not available. The one that is available is "Only Rock N Roll 1990-94 #1 Radio Hits". It features "Promise Of A New Day" (Paula Abdul), "I Touch Myself" (Divinyls), etc. These are two different CDs. I'm hoping that "Only Rock N Roll 1990-94" will be available for purchase soon. Thanks a lot for your help.
