Subject: Who sang 'Zoom'?

Hey ppl...
I'm new to this site. it's pretty darn cool. i'm just wondering if anybody knows if Fat Larry's Band's 1982 hit 'Zoom' is a cover version, because i've heard from my dad that it is. i've been searching for the original artistes online for eons and it's hopeless! if anbody knows, pls email me or reply to this message. thanks loads!!

Hey. I'm pretty sure that "Zoom" is not a cover version. It was written by Martinelli/Price/Birts who were producers/musicians. I think they wrote that song specifically for Fat Larry's Band. I know the Cadillacs (50's) and The Commodores did songs called "Zoom" but they aren't the same songs. Hope this helps!
