Subject: Plastic necklace charms

Does anyone else remember these? When I was little, I bought them at flea markets. They were little plastic charms, that hooked onto plastic necklace chains. The charms ranged from stuff like little Coke bottles, and little telephones, to little hairdryers, etc. They were in all different colors.

I remember them, my lil' sis in the foster home always had to get more. We would go to a flea market in Lucadia, CA. every weekend with our hard earned money to buy Bally swimsuits and Made in India cotton shirts and dresses. She would save all her nickles to buy every new one she didn't have. They were cheap collectable kids things.

I wish my daughter had something like that now to be able to save for herself. Everything nowadays is soooo expensive, I'de have to make more to be able to pay her enough allowance to collect something today.
