Subject: PBS Children's Shows

Written By: Tracey on 3/26/2001 at 11:34 p.m.

Hello out there. I was a child of the eighties and I'm trying to remember the names of a couple tv shows on PBS that I watched as a kid. One of them had manicans in a department store that came to life. The other show was some kind of a circus with an elephant and a gorilla or something that played the kaliopy(sp). I don't really know how else to describe them, but if anyone has a clue what I'm talking about and knows the name of them, please let me know!! Thanks a bunch!

I know this one. It's called Today's Special and it featured a mannequin that comes to life and I remember a muppet mouse named Muffy. I don't know the other show.
