Hi! Does anyone remember the show "The Young Ones"? It aired on MTV in the 80's. I haven't been able to find any information on the show.

I definately remember it! BBC America has shown the series recently, and it will likely air again at some point. Classic comedy!

: The Young one's rule!! I still watch the videos I taped from MTV a few times a year. The show is about 4 college students who rent a house together in the early 80's in England. The main characters were Rik, Neil (the hippie), Vyvian (Punk), and Mike. Episodes include 'Bomb', 'Nasty', 'Oil', 'Bambi', 'Interesting' 'Flood' and 'Sick'. I believe there were more, but I don't have them. Most of the episodes also include Alexei Sayle in a changeable role. The shows featured bands of the era like 'Madness', 'The Damned', and 'Dexy's Midnight Runners'. I believe you could buy the videos at the 'Store of Knowledge', found in malls sponsored by local PBS stations. My friends and I used to recite the British slang...oh, the memories.

I used to love watching The Young Ones on MTV back in the 80s. They sell a box set of episodes at Media Play. I also remember that the character of Neil had a song that went Top Ten in Britain called "Hole in My Head"...

The Young Ones is one of my favourite shows, I have all the episodes bought, they include - oil, boring, flood, bambi, nasty, time, demolition, bomb, sick, cash, interesting and summer holiday.

Rik Mayall Played 'Rick'
Adrian Edmonson Played 'Vyvyan Bastard'
Nigel Planer Played 'Neil Pye'
Christopher Ryan Played 'Mike The Cool Person'
Alexei Sayle Played 'The Broflowski Family'

Neil's record was called 'Hole In My Shoe' it's very good, I have it on vinyl.
