Subject: Anyone else as nostalgic as me?

Written By: Allie on 5/16/2001 at 12:42 a.m.

Hi- my name's Allie and I'm 18. Despite my very young age in the 80s, i find that i remember *everything*. Even now- i'm still *SO* nostalgic of just everything 80s in general. I miss those times, man. The years of Band Aid and Footloose, Steve Winwood and Cheers, the Cold War, rubix cubes and back when mtv was in its prime. I know i'm leaving out *tons* of stuff, but i remember it all, believe me. Anyone else find themselves drifting back into fine nostalgia like i do? The 80s was awesome for me, and i was sad to see such a period in history go (although i don't think "the true 80s" decade was over until about 1993). I mean, i even get sentimental over seeing the old pepsi logo (before it changed) and that one little Moon Guy character in those McDOnald's commercials. LOL. I'll always hold those times dear in my heart.

I feel the same way. All my oldtime favorite TV shows, where in the 80's. And some of them are being reran on the television.

Hi,

My name's Tobi and I'm also a huge 80s fan. I'm 22 years old and I'm running my own 80s music project (www.misfitsofscience.de). I'm always searching for hard to get 80s songs and I collect LPs and soundtracks from the 80s! My favourite movies are Karate Kid, Teen Wolf and so on. I really like the 80s and take every opportunity to enter these special feelings wherever and whenever possible! It's good to see that there actually are as many fans out there who feel the same as I do!
See you...

... Save Ferris!
... 80s Forever!

Yours,
Tobi

: Moreso, I think. I tune in to every 80s show I can find. I have old 80s radio and TV shows and old 80s commercials, too. I just can't hear enough 80s or watch enough videos.

In the early 90's there was a toy product called Moon Shoes. From Nickelodeon, about 6" plastic frame with a pad inside connected with little bungee-cords that you strapped on your shoes and walked around as if "walking on the moon". We carried them at Toys 'R' Us years ago.
