Does anybody remember this one hit wonder of a band named Total coelo? A girl group of 83 known for there song titled I eat cannibals. MTV made them familiar with there flashy video and crazy outfits which looked like colored plastic wrap. Anyway, getting to the point, whatever happened to them and who the heck were they? I can not find anything about this mysterious and very bizarre group that just basically vanished with there song when Mtv hung up there video. If anyone has any information about this group please let me know. Thanks a lot! Beth

Since I posted this message I was able to find some info. First of all thanks Karen for the idea to look for Toto Coelo instead of Total. I found out that they were like the spice girls of the early 80's and are from the UK. Two of the band members names are lindsey danvers and sheen doran. The three other band members are still unknown. Lindsey has gone on to become a very respected and well known british theatrical actress appearing in such UK hits as Cats, Metropolis, Stowaway, etc. Sheen is a famouse Choreographer that has worked with people like Rod stewart and Tina turner. Her latest project has been working with the new Abba. Sheen was also the choreographer for the original ABBA as well. So there you have it guys. If anyone has more follow-ups or leads to go on let me know. Thanks

Try searching for Toto not Total and also try variations such as coeolo. I think they did have a couple of other songs released but can't think exactly what they were called at the moment.
