Subject: help on a song title

Written By: aaron on 6/3/2001 at 3:54 p.m.

This might be an easy one, but I haven't got the first clue on it. I know VERY little about it. A clip of the song was played on our 80's radio station here during intermission when 1 or 2 lines from the song are played, then another song, then another, like during advertisements.

The ONLY line played sings is something to the effect of "she moves in mysterious ways" and theres one more word, but I can't make it out.

Maybe alright, all night, or something else. It's like "she movies in mysterious ways, all night".

It sounds medium paced. Definitely a guy singing.

It's not much to go on, and that is the ONLY line they play and the station doesn't say anything about the artist, album, etc.

Any help on this?? I have no idea...

Sounds like "Mysterious Ways" by U2 from the Achtung Baby CD, although this is an early 90s release.

Yeah thats what I found. I typed the lyrics into google and the first results page told me this.

I went to cdnow and listened to the clip and that is exactly the song.

The CD is from 1991. I have heard 80's stations playing some songs from 90, 91, and 92, which never really made sense to me. Even though some of the 80's sounds carried over, it still is not an 80's song.

Either way...

Thanks for the reply! You were right!
