Subject: What is the artist and song title to this song?
the only part of the song I remember fairly well is the chorus. This song had to have been out in 1980-84 time period and is by a male vocalist. Here goes the lyrics to the chorus I do know:
since then I never looked back, its almost like living a dream, and ooohhhh I want you, thanks again for being my friend and straighten out my life, and oooohhhhh I love you, if ever a man had it all, it would have to be me, and ohhhhhhh I love you.

That's correct and that song was a hit on this date in 1981.
