Subject: Favorite Phil Collins songs???

Written By: Andrew on 6/23/2001 at 9:42 p.m.

Phil Collins without a doubt has had a massive career of hits throughout the 80's and into the very early part of the 90's. It's hard to choose just one Phil Collins song but if I narrowed it down to three, it would have to be:

1)Sussudio
2)One More Night
3)Something Happened On The Way To Heaven

I'd like to hear some of your favorite Phil Collins songs, and by the way, why wasn't "Don't Lose My Number" on the Greatest Hits album? Just curious.

Don't overlook his early solo work from "Face Value"! Much more interesting than the pop stuff he put out later.

I've always liked Phil Collins's work with Genesis, but as for his solo stuff I'd have to say that my favorites are "Do You Remember?" and "Against All Odds".

Isn't it bloody awful when the one or two songs are always left out of greatest hits compilations.

My favorites from Phil Collins are:

Invisible Touch
Land of Confusion

"In the Air Tonight" was my favorite Phil Collins solo effort. It was on both "Face Value" and the Miami Vice soundtrack. I also like "I Wish It Would Rain Down" and "Another Day in Paradise".

I liked the early Genesis songs like "Follow You, Follow Me" (I know that was Peter Gabriel singing) and "Turn It On Again".
