Just curious -- did anyone else do this?

As a child in the eighties, I had 1 Jem doll and lots of Barbie dolls, but no Kens. Being on a limited Barbie budget, I never coughed up the cash for a Ken, since Barbie was prettier. I did, however, still need a male doll. Noticing that Jem is a lot bigger, more muscular, and flatter chested than Barbie, and having already ost all of Jem's clothes, I turned her into my 'male' doll -- all my Barbies dated David Bowie. Being a fan of Jim Henson's "Labyrinth", that naturally turned into Sarah (Skipper) dating Jareth (still Jem). A few other friends noted the resemblance, but only after I pointed it out. Did anyone else come up with this spontaneously? Am I nuts? (Answer may be yes to both.)
