Is the opening music of that song a "sample" of Stevie Nick's Edge of Seventeen? Maybe my ears are getting old but it sounds just like it...(hope someone's getting royalties :-)

Does anyone remember the legal question M.C. Hammer posed at the time by sampling "Superfreak" on "U Can't Touch This?" I'm sure Stevie's getting her royalties, but it's sad that today's artists can't come up with something original.

Yes it is. If you ever get a chance to see the video, Stevie Nicks is shown in the beginning playing the guitar.

I do like Destiny's Child, and I think the sample of "Edge Of Seventeen" works well with the song, but I think that Stevie Nicks should have definetely been shown a lot more in the video.

When I saw the begining of the video I thought she would be in it more. I thought she should have been in more as well. However, when I think about it, the video shows frequent cuts of rather odd-looking people. Perhaps the directors didn't want to give that impression of Stevie.

I thought that they made Stevie look sort of unimportant. I mean, the goofy random people got more screen time than she did. Its not as if they didn't shoot the footage--I saw the Making The Video and they shot a TON of Stevie Footage.

Urgh.
