Subject: Jon Cryer/Demi Moore Movie
I must be getting old! No matter how hard I try I just can't seem to recall the name of a movie I saw in the 80's. I do know that Jon Cryer starred in it as a photographer and that Demi Moore also played a major role. There was some awesome music in it by an artist called Fiona (not Apple) and that is actually what I'm trying to find. I'm hoping somebody can tell me the name of the movie so I can see if there is a soundtrack available. Any help is much appreciated!

I know I'm getting old, but one of my absolute favorite songs ever is still Fiona's "Love Makes You Blind" from No Small Affair. There is a soundtrack, but I don't think it was ever released on CD, only cassette and vinyl. It has that one Fiona song. Fiona had a couple albums out of her own, and she was also in the movie Hearts Of Fire and sang on that soundtrack, too. I have the No Small Affair soundtrack and Fiona's 1985 eponymous album on vinyl, both have slightly different recordings of Love Makes You Blind. I have Fiona's 1989 CD of Heart Like A Gun. She has such an amazing voice, though I admit much of the music is less than great. Still, if you want copies of any of it, I'd be glad to share with a fellow fan. E-mail me if you're interested.

That's it! That's the song I'm looking for! Wow, I didn't think anybody else had heard of Fiona but now I'm really glad I asked. For some reason that tune ("Love Makes You Blind") always stuck in my mind but I never could remember what the name of the song was. Usually I'm good with song titles but that one escaped me. LOL! It's so nice to find another fan of hers. I appreciate your offer to make me a copy of your album, but I think I will try and find it through a music-swapping site first. If I don't succeed, then I just might take you up on your offer. Thanks a lot!
