Known mostly to country music fans, but Chet Atkins influenced many 60s rock/pop stars including the Beatles.

My dad was always a big fan of Chet Atkins and I remember hearing his music often when I was growing up. So that makes three...first Carroll O'Connor, then Jack Lemmon, and now Chet Atkins. Wow! Hope there won't be any more for a while at least...

That holds true to the old wive's tale "Hollywood Stars die in groups of three..."
