Subject: "Cosby Show" Question

Written By: ? on 7/15/2001 at 11:02 p.m.

On "The Cosby Show", what was Dr. Huxtable's first name? He referred to himself as Heathcliff Huxtable, but the sign on his office door said Dr. Clifford Huxtable. Could his name have been Clifford Heathcliff Huxtable?

According to the site that I found (from www.sitcomsonline.com), it says that the early episodes show his name as Clifford Huxtable, M.D., but was later changed to Heathcliff Huxtable, M.D. (click on the link below, then scroll about 3/4 down)
