Probably to embarrass the family, especially Nancy! Oh, those messed up Reagan kids! Great to know even Presidential families can be so darn dysfunctional!

That would also explain Billy Carter and Roger Clinton... although I'm not sure who the bigger embarrasment was in the Clinton family.
