But can anyone help me remember the artist and name of this song?
Chorus:

Love can be so cruel (not sure about this line),

It's from the late 80's, and sounds like "Calloway" (I Want To Be Rich), but I don't think that's who it is. Any help would be much appreciated!

Could it be "Just Like You" by Robbie Nevil? If so I think it was from 91, off the album Day 1. It can also be found on The Best Of Robbie Nevil.
