Subject: Can you help me identify this song???

Written By: DOME on 8/2/2001 at 1:40 p.m.

Hi All,

I have a question about a song I heard on the radio today- it goes something like this:

"You don't have to be rich, to be my girl, you don't have to be cool, to rock my world...I just want your extra time...and your, kiss."

Can you tell me the name of the song, and the artist???

Thanks!
Either post, or email me

If the voice is high, it's by Prince. If the voice is low, then it's by Art of Noise featuring Tom Jones. Either way, the song is called "Kiss."

And if the music is metal/industrial-sounding, it's by Age of Chance...

It's kind of dance-metal sounding I guess (for lack of a better term). I found their "Crush Collision" EP back in '93 in a 50-cent record bin at a music store in Clemson SC...I can't explain why I picked it up except for where I was living in SC at the time it was hard to find vinyl, let alone anything decent - I actually hadn't heard this cover before I bought it - came out in '87 on Virgin Records.

They also cover "Disco Inferno" (but hey, doesn't everybody?)
