Subject: Help with song title & artist

Written By: DJ Midas on 8/10/2001 at 10:52 a.m.

I was going through my old tapes and came across one that I recorded from the HOT MIX radio show in Phoenix (I'm thinking this was summer or fall of 1987; Expose's "Let Me Be The One" and Noel's "Slient Morning" were brand new songs per the radio DJ) and there's a song in the beginning of the 1st mix set, male vocal, R&B-dance like, I think it may be called "Lies" - here are some of the lyrics from the chorus:

(Lies......)
Wish I could've seen it in your eyes

....(something)....made me realize
(Lies.....)
But I was caught up in your web of lies...

There was also some "doot-doot, badoobadooba doot-doo-doo" being sung by the vocalist. The name of the song and artist would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a rundown of the mixtape songs:

Mix 1
?-("Lies"?)
Steve Winwood - "Higher Love"
Chris DeBurgh - "High on Emotion"
Expose' - "Let Me Be the One"
Jody Watley - "Looking for a New Love"
Billy Idol - "Hot in the City"
Michael Jackson - "The Way You Make Me Feel"

Mix 2
Mary Jane Girls - "In My House"
Noel - "Silent Morning"
Janet Jackson - "When I Think of You" (12"/Video Mix)
Depeche Mode - "Strangelove" (Blind Mix)
Yaz - "Situation"
Freestyle - "Don't Stop The Rock"
Jellybean feat. Elisa Fiorillo - "Who Found Who"
Chic - "Le Freak"

Thanks.

LOL!!!
I didn't see your self-reply
Next time I'll check the replies before posting (that I couldn't see while looking for your song!)
Great you've found it, is a good feeling isn't it?
