Subject: Does anyone know this song?

Written By: galo on 7/18/1999 at 12:40 a.m.

Back in the late 80's (possibly even the very early 90's) I heard a song that had the following lyrics: "feel it burn, stick in the knife and I feel it turn, But what I see, it makes no difference to me" The band had a female lead singer and had a sound that is very similar to the Cocteau Twins or Voice of the Beehive. For many years I thought that it was the Cocteau Twins, but I have searched many of their records with no luck. If anyone has any information on this song I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Not sure, but when I read the lyrics, both Patti Smythe and Dale Bozzio came to mind, for some reason. I might be way off on this, though. Can you describe this lady? That might help. Good luck!
