Subject: The Reynolds Girls (UK Orientated thread)

Written By: John H on 7/25/1999 at 11:22 a.m.

Does anyone apart from me remember the one hit wonders, "The Reynolds Girls" who were part of the Stock Aitken Waterman hit factory?? They only had one hit, "I'd Rather Jack" in 1989, then were unceremoniously sacked by Pete Waterman for "unknown" reasons. They were great! I remember them being on Top of the Pops, and they got to around number 10 or so, I think. Anyone else remember them, please write to me! : )

I remember them, they were a bit like the female version of Yell! Remember them??? They played at my school many moons ago with Radio One and Bruno Brooks! I'm sure the Reynolds Girls had a Xmas song that didn't do very well, couldn't tell you what it was called though! Maybe I'm thinking of someone else on that one but I definately remember the Reynolds Girls and that hit. Didn't they wear stripey tops a bit like the stereotype frenchman (with bike and garlic round his neck!!!!).
