Subject: Search for Australian 80's movie
Does anyone know the title of a movie from the 80's that had a runaway girl and an AOWL soldier hitching rides on trains and running from the athorities. They fall in love even though there is a large age difference. It is not THE JOURNEY OF NATTY GANN, everyone tells me that and I've rented it, that is not it. I think it was Australian. I swear the girl was the same one from ANNE OF AVONLEA. I have looked her up and can't find this film in her bibliography. Please help if you can.
