Well some of you may hit me for my suggestions, but I am a sucker for the 80's "boy meets girl, loses girl, gets her back and his career as well movies" so how about Masquarade, Wargames, Say Anything, 16 Candles, Better off dead (best of the best), One Crazy Summer, Pretty in Pink, Real Genius, and the Sure Thing. Also Thought 2010 was better than the Star Wars sequels (stop throwing things please ;) ) And the ultimate 80's movies as far as descriptive of the decade; St. Elmo's Fire, Less Than Zero, Heathers, and Wall Street. Even though they were made in the 90's I am tempted to classify (sp?) Clueless, the Wedding Singer, and Gross Pointe Blank as 80's movies in spirit

I see I forgot to mention a couple of my favorites like back to the future, so I am glad you got my back on that one - Apparently great movie minds think alike : )
