Subject: I'm looking for a toy

Written By: missmarvaless on 8/13/1999 at 4:48 a.m.

These toys came out in the 80's. They were about 2 inches tall. They were little figures that came with removal clothes. You could move their heads, arms and legs. They were human-like, but they were bears and rabbits, and cats. They were like families, papa, mama, son, daughter. For the life of me i can't remember the name of the series of toys. I really enjoyed them when i was little...if you can help it would be much appreciated. All those 80's gurus...let me know!!! THANKS

I believe it was "Sylvanian Families". I had the rabbit family. They had "Little House On the Prarie"- type outfits, right?

It might have been, but i'm not exactly sure. They were very detailed, and had country type outfits like farmers. Come to think of it you might be right. I remember having these when i was about 5 or 6. They had a bear family, rabbit family and i think a fox family. THANK U SO MUCH FOR RESPONDING!! I didn't expect to get an answer so soon.
