Subject: Press Your Luck is coming back!!!!!!!!

Written By: james martin on 8/17/2001 at 11:46 a.m.

On Sept. 1, The Game Show Network is bringing back one of the most popular game shows of the mid-80's:Press Your Luck. I don't know exactly the time of it; but, I know it will air twice a day which brings me to an important question: Whatever happened to the host of the show: Peter Tomarken. He was funny, witty & had a great sense of humor that I couldn't stopped laughing. I wondered if he disappear into seclusion like Jim Perry?

Is this reruns of the classic, or a NEW show? I had heard somewhere (this board?) that someone was developing a NEW Press Your Luck. Just curious.

Doesn't matter, tho'. Poor me, I don't get Game Show Network. It isn't on the basic cable package. Maybe if we ever get the extra $ to sell out for DIGITAL cable...

Thanx for that collective "awwwww". >;-P

No, it's the old shows because if it was new, Peter Tomarken would look a lot older

Fett, get yourself a DirecTV or Dish Network system - although definitely DTV if you're an NFL fan, since Sunday Ticket isn't available on Dish. Anyway, they run promotions all the time where you can get the system either free or for a very small sum, and even if you have to buy it you can get the 2 receiver system for a couple hundred bucks. I switched over from C-band a little over a year ago, and while I still prefer C-band, DTV is a much better deal than your cable company can offer. You can get just about everything other than the sports packages and premium movie chanels for a little over 30 dollars a month. And, hey, I don't even work for 'em

Thanx, Lester. I'll hafta get the wife to "somehow" come across this little tidbit....>;-P

I'm DYING to get the NFL Sunday Ticket! I'm a Steeler fan trapped in AZ. (I'm also a Cardinal fan since I'm here, but I BLEED black & gold!)
