Subject: Challenger Posting

Does anyone know where the "I remember Challenger" stories go when they're submitted from this site's form page? I submitted one quite a while ago and haven't seen it posted or received any kind of thank you email or response from this site's admin. What gives?

Can't say I'm too surprised. I've had the exact same thing happen many times to me. Last year I submitted a number of corrections, like movie quotes that were from the wrong movie, deaths in the wrong year, and more. To my knowledge, Chucky has never done them. In fact, even the guestbook has not been updated in a VERY long time.

I'm guessing he has a regular job that keeps him pretty busy, in addition to finding new things for this site.

After I posted several corrections and they were never added, I finally just quit submitting.

I don't see the point in offering submissions when they are never (so far) added. I'm sure he is pretty busy and gets a lot of email daily.

The other thing I've noticed is the majority of other 80's sites never update their pages either. There is another site that I like the layout, but has very few pictures. I have emailed the owner a few times and she NEVER reponds. I have sent her corrections and she NEVER does them. Her main page says she has a new layout. Well its been that way for over a year. I don't even bother sending her mail anymore. She clearly is not interested in managing her web site.

Chucky has responded to me a long time ago, but as I said, when your submissions go months without being done, I don't even bother anymore. In my opinion, it totally defeats the purpose of asking for submissions.

No offense to Chucky. He's probably busy. I just don't submit anymore.
