I was just curious to know if any of the posters here from the UK watched the recent BBC special on the 80s? I've heard that it was great and very informative, and, hopefully, it will run on the BBC/America in the not-too-distant future.

This is actually a large series of programmes. It started with "I Love 1970" and I think this week's programme is "I Love 1992". Putting my two-year old to bed means that I only catch this series at random but you're right, they have been very informative. A mixture of music, fashion, TV shows and news items for the relevant year are shown and celebraties talk about their memories/opinions.
