Subject: unearthed songs, need some titles

Written By: langdon hughes on 8/26/2001 at 7:44 p.m.

Or band names, or anything. I've been home for two months, cleaning out the bedroom of my childhood, and of course had to listen to every mixed tape I ever stashed away. Any help with...

"Blue Velvet"- quotes from the movie both sampled and spoken set to a slightly industrial beat. (I can't figure out if it's very existence terrifies me or makes me laugh.)

"?" - The lyrics go, "I like you better when you dress up for me, but when you undress for me, all the feeling's gone...I never knew it could be like this, the way you move on me, the way you kiss..." Definitely eighties club music, and not, by the way, that Depeche song about undressing. (Like there was only one?)

"?" - scary industrial. Repeated sample of, "Now is the only thing that's real," and what few of the words I can understand are, "Subsistence is inexistence, noncommitted,...instincts evolve over and over..." I dunno. Sounds like Skinny Puppy to me, but I can't find it.

There are more. If anyone finds any amusement in these, I shall continue my archaeological excavations. If not, well, at least I'm back.
