Does anyone remember what the schmoo looks like and what its roll was on captain caveman? I know it or he/she was on the flintstones a couple times. Every body that i talked to about this creature says they've never seen it. Help please. Thank you.

Well, I found this image on the web, and I vaguely remember the character from Captain Caveman, but I don't remember what it did. Maybe the image will jog your memory.

Wow. I sure don't remember him looking quite so...phallic. Ah, innocence lost.

The Shmoo could change shapes. He was flexible, lovable and had his own show briefly. Kind of a Scooby-Doo thing, out fighting crime and discovering dastardly deeds with his band of kids. Part of the show was a "Sing along with Shmoo" when he turned into the bouncing ball and hopped over the words shown at the bottom of your screen. He, of course, didn't fully articulate words but sounded a bit like the Helper Monkey from the Simpsons.
