Subject: Video/Song From Late 80's
I need some help in identifying an artist/song in the late 80's. The video was in medium rotation on MTV/Muchmusic. Fuzzy recall here, but the lead guy and his band reminds me of a Canadian artist, Barney Bentall. Song lyrics related to something about being "just east, just east of Eden (?).............." Also a reference, I believe to San Francisco in there somewhere. He was wearing black jacket with a flower in the lapel; and very sixties-like images projected in the background. Straight ahead rock tune; band looking very serious; strong 60's overtones. Not John Cafferty and Beaver Brown Band, but something like that. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
