for a couple of days there's an advertisment on MTV (Europe) for an 80'ies cd collection. I'm not interested in buying it. But there's a short frag of a song that I'd like to know.
The lyrics : Maria Magdalena, creature of the night.
My question: Does someone know which song this is and who wrote it?

Hi Bart, the song you heard about is in fact "Maria Magdalena" and it is sung by Sandra,a well famous singer in the 80's. In the chorus there's a line taken from the song "Self Control", sung originally by Raf and then covered by Laura Branigan.
